Valerie J. Fullilove is a writer/producer/author/and visual artist originally from Long Island, New York now residing in Northern New Jersey. As Founder and CEO of Trinity Park Productions, LLC and Studio V Music Publishing, Valerie‘s mission is to bring inspirational, entertaining and thought provoking projects to her audience. Valerie has completed and self-published on Amazon the second edition of a children’s book series entitled “Spotless” and “Bandit.” She was commissioned by an author to turn a published book about a former New York Yankee, into a screenplay entitled “Pinstripes and Penance,” and has currently turned her original screenplay “Laura Lee” into a dramatic novella entitled “Red Flags,” also published on Amazon. Valerie is in pre-production on a short film entitled “Do You.” In addition to the screenplay “Laura Lee,” Valerie is working on the pitch of an original T.V. Series pilot entitled “TRAP.” Her stage play entitled “FREE”, was co-written with ATL based writer Timothy Gilbert. Several of Valerie’s film projects have been actively pitched to Lifetime, Netflix, BET, Amazon and independent production companies looking for new content.
Her Screenplay “Iron Sharpens Iron” was nominated “Best Screenplay” in the 2017 Newark International Film Festival, and her screenplay “Laura Lee” was nominated “Best Screenplay”, in the Atlanta International Film Festival in 2005. Her stage play “FREE” was chosen for a stage reading in the grand opening of New Jersey’s multi-media center;
“The Warehouse” in 2014. Valerie was honored when “Laura Lee” was selected by the New York chapter of the “I Can Still Do That Foundation” (The Florence Belsky Foundation aka FLOBEL) for their first New York City “Stage Reading Series” beginning June of 2012. Her play “When Doves Fly” co-produced with Phoenix Ensemble Theater Company opened with four sold-out performances at Newark Symphony Hall in 2006. The play was also performed in multiple schools and colleges within the tristate area in 2006 and 2007. Afterwards Valerie produced an excerpt of the play “When Doves Fly” entitled “Beloved,” which was performed at The Love of Jesus Family Church in Orange, NJ in 2008 and again in 2015. Valerie, an ordained Elder, also wrote and produced a play entitled “Azuza Street” for the Drama ministry at her church in 2010.
In addition to play and screenwriting, Valerie is a poet and a BMI songwriter, often including her original songs in her plays and movie scripts. Valerie has performed her poetry for the Love of Jesus Family Church and also for inclusion on the church website. Early on, Valerie wrote and co-produced a house (club) tune entitled “Slip Away” on the artist Goddess which was played by local DJ’s and radio that charted. Valerie received rousing applause when introduced at Sweetwater’s in NYC after recording artist Renee Stephanie performed her song “Chasing a Dream.” Renee also performed her tunes in a show where she opened up for R&B artists; The Force MC’s. Valerie was the Executive Producer for a Gospel CD entitled “The Prize” – by Astronomix in 2010, and she wrote and produced two Gospel House songs entitled, “My Joy” and “Turn Around” on recording artist Taana Gardener (of “Heartbeat” fame) in 2017. Valerie and Greg Ayers co-created a Gospel album entitled “Wonderful Blessings.” The Trinity Park Production, LLC team of writers, composers, musicians and engineers is currently hard at work creating a library of original songs.
Valerie successfully completed an intense nine-month professional screenwriting course and workshop under the direction of Hal and Cheryl Croasmun of the LA-based ScreenwritingU in 2012. She also completed the Kindle University Course on writing and self-publishing Kindle eBooks. Valerie continues to educate and challenge herself in order to remain current with industry standards and trends.
Valerie is currently writing and producing a contemporary Gospel album for a soloist from her church at DML Recording Studio. She is diligently working on commissioned portrait projects, and also finishing up on her other books, screenplay and theater projects in various stages of completion.
